Sandy works for an adoption agency, while Shane worked as a youth pastor for 10 years and currently works for Olafson’s bread (while still harbouring his dream of becoming a hockey player). The Bassens love to rollerblade, play tennis, help with the youth group, go for walks, spend time with the kids, eat out and cheer on the Calgary Flames. |
Shane and Sandy met at a Humpty’s restaurant in Calgary…they never thought Humpty’s had so much to offer! Both of them had been divorced and had
children from their previous marriages. Between them they have four daughters: Krystal, Chantelle, Tarysha and Natasha. Shane and Sandy dated for two years, fell in love, and have been married and building their blended family since 1998.
